Glad you’re still enjoying the blog, we’ve done so much recently that it’s hard to keep it up to date, even with a post everyday! Glad to here all is well back home, every time we look on facebook you seem to be producing another culinary delight, hopefully Hugh will give you some more inspiration.

The clio would have been immense on the river road, and any of New Zealands twisting tarmac for that matter, though I probably would of crashed it by now! Will have to make do with the mighty Toyota Vitz.

Wow the volcano looks amazing, i have no recollection of seeing it!!? maybe i didn’t go there ..or actually a more likely reason is probably beer intake & sleep! :)

Loving the blog, its immense! (and a gd way to waste the last 30mins of work on a fri afternoon) You guys are obviously having an amazing time.

I expect a full powerpoint presentation / slideshow on your return.

Things back here are cool, i’m taking part in the filming for market kitchen next week and then off to Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall’s River Cottage at the wkend, might try and steal a pig.

Hi, thanks for the comment, we’re always pleased to hear people are reading the blog! We can definitely recommend New Zealand as walking holiday destination, the quality and diversity of the walks here is incredible, you’ll be spoilt for choice Should hopefully be putting some more shots of the glacier onto Flickr soon so keep an eye out. Wow- what an experience- awesome! I’ll be looking for the other photos from this trip- Flickr or somewhere? Although I was born in New Zealand I’ve never been to the Fox Glacier and we’re not likely to in the near future. We used to go on walking holidays regularly and New Zealand was next on the list, then Patagonia- Torres del Paine. The Fox is certainly different in photographs to the ones my dad had from the 1930s and 40s- so dirty now, and so much further melted! I’ll be looking at your other blogged adventures and waiting for more.

Your right about that cable car, especially as in the mist it looked like it just went into nothingness. No chance we were riding that beast!

Not long to go till we come home now, can’t believe it’s only a couple of months, definitely not long enough! Thanks for voting on the t-shirt, if it gets accepted maybe we can extend the trip :)

Pleased to hear the vouchers were put to good use, hope Yuko is enjoying her new dressing gown.

You’ll be happy to hear we also put to good use the money you kindly gave us as a leaving present, we put it towards a didgeridoo!! It’s already made its way to Raydon. Can’t wait to get back and start learning.
